I feel the same. I mean, there ARE people there for me, but in a depressive episode, I keep to myself. Just sleeping, reading and drinking.Mostly, it’s about money. I was in therapy and got meds, but it’s hard to let go of alcohol, because it helps me fall asleep and not to worry so much about stuff like my job, rent etc. It’s not healthy at all, of course. P.S.: Weed doesn’t work for me. No giggles etc. Just a hangover a few others later, that feels as I had beer all night.

Ikr? It’s easy with fried eggs, but when boiled, I’m like: „Ok, start with 4min boiling for a medium sized egg with a rough shell at room temperature. But those eggs here are large, so add a minute. And they come out of the fridge, so add another minute. But their shells are smooth, that’s 30secs more…“ 😂 It’s a science. For myself, I prefer a mix between fried and poached. Easier to control and I can’t stand browned egg whites.
I don’t care about watching sports, but at least it’s exciting. Live, you never know what’ll happen! StarTrek, however… yeah, fine, innovative technology and philosophy back then etc, but actually watching it? No way. My Ex is a fan, and I really tried to like it, but well, I just can’t take it seriously. The acting, the cleanliness of the other civilisations etc
Btw, „Poverty“ means that people can’t satisfy their basic needs. Which includes (healthy) food (not just rice and beans, if even), proper housing, clean water and medical attention. Anyway, I’m just glad I’m not a US citizen and don’t have to deal with entitled dipshits like you.

Oh, „Alien“ was a Classic for my mom and I, when I was barely 7 years old. Same as "Jaws“. We‘d have a picnic/brunch on the floor in front of the TV together and watch either of them. Good times. 🙂 I find that horror affects me more as an adult.
