Here most teachers work from 9-3 with 2x30 minute recess breaks and a hour for lunch. 6 hours minus 2 hours of breaks = 4 hours of work... Then take away weekends, school holidays, public holidays and they work for less than half the year plus they get 14 personal days/sick days on top of that. 4 hours of work a day for half the year and they get a decent salary which includes pay for all their time off and holidays. That's about 1/4 of the work of most jobs for simlar or more pay in most cases.

Do you get paid for it? In Australia they don't pay for blood (it's illegal) and they buy 80% of it from the US despite constantly advertising how urgently we need blood donors. I think if they paid here too they would get more donors, they are essentially just paying Americans for it instead of their own people.
