That's like saying "They definitely won't steal $3,500 again, they had to pay back $15". Bank regulations are a joke.

I think because $125m would change any of our lives it's easy to think of it as a lot of money but it's not. (c)

No, that's Gangham Style. Ganymede is when you increase the amount of honey wine that you have.

Sorry, but it has. Standard is 20% with anything above considered exceptional. 15% is "acceptable" 10 or below is bad.

Knowledge of the food and drinks on the menu, as well as various dietary restrictions, allergies, etc. Is it rocket science? No but not easy

Not really. Besides having to juggle the needs of all the guests, servers at more high end places usually have to have nearly encyclopedic

Also, the cost would just be passed down as menu prices anyway. You pay the wages of the workers one way or another

Americans who feel that way should write and call their congressmen and political parties. Nothing is changed by screwing the server.

Yes, and minimum wage is terrible. Also consider that if you don't tip, you actually cost the server as they usually still tip out on sales

No, you don't. You just ensure that someone had to pay for serving you. Servers usually tip out a percentage of the bill.

Minimum wage is not a decent wage.

Tymora's work?

I won't disagree that it's a silly system for it to be (basically) mandatory, but I would disagree that it's pity.

I have tipped barbers if I felt they were particularly hospitable or skilled. Cashiers rarely, but occasionally. Dentists are paid directly.

Most restaurants I work out now takes those taxes out of server tips. Same thing for the credit card fees which I thinks is insane.

Don't you like to feel hosted or pampered sometimes? It's nice to have someone show you the best time possible.

Paying for quality service isn't a matter of pity. You do a great job, I'll give you more money.

No, anything on top of an automatic gratuity would be just extra in case of exceptional service.

Depending where you work, minimum wage is a terrible mark for what amounts to skilled labor.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Depends where you work. Many restaurants report cash tips based on a percentage of cash sales, or based on a minimum assumes cash tip.

This looks so fun and incredible! I'm reminded of barbeques with all of my aunts and uncles and cousins back when I was a kid but huge!

Because the current system is devaluing workers and over valuing ownership. They shouldn't be paid the same but the desperity is too high.

Or bullion. Season to taste. Toss in cabbage just long enough to will it a little and serve.

No special recipe. Fine chop garlic, onion, and celery and sweat them down. Deglaze with a splash of soy. Add beef or chicken broth
