Instead of lobbing a blanket criticism at anyone who’s tired of politics on this app, I daresay it would be more productive to recommend a reliable news source (my go to for a wide spectrum of coverage is Ground News) and a reminder that the politics tag and 2/2
I follow a lot of political posters on this app, like SisterMidnight, MECH0T1, and BlasphemousJones among others. I also doomscroll NPR, ground news, and a psychologically draining array of other news sites. I’m all for engaging with politics and staying well-informed. That said, shitting on people who come here for a break from the drain of their work lives and the political landscape seems more likely to push them towards voluntary ignorance and reactionism. Their exhaustion is valid, 1/2

The same way femboys exist. Gender presentation and gender identity are different but related. I can’t speak for the OP but I’m guessing that feminine traits and presentation resonate with them, but fully identifying as a woman does not.
It is and it isn’t. Some of his followers are bound to continue having catastrophic mental breakdowns; once they realize he’s lied so thoroughly and shamelessly about any given thing it becomes clear he’s done that about nearly everything, and all of a sudden a horrible reality sets in. I expect more cries of “we were betrayed,” and also more violence like this over the next several years.
I *think* she was angry about the secrecy/hypocrisy of her possibly homicidal father shipping her off to a boarding school for attempting something similar.
Reminds me of Monét’s seascapes, but more realist than impressionist. Very impressive work.
