Polish geek living and working in Ireland. Obsessed with video games (RPG & Platformers mostly), comics (Marvel over DC), board games (all time favourite - Mansions of Madness), cooking and as of recently, raising my adopted doggo called Midna together with my partner 🐕
Took about a year. Mostly processing delays due to Covid but should be better now.
Galway
Cheers! Not in Cork though but Galway ?
Thank you! No specific backstory. Original nationality -Polish. Haven't changed it but instead added Irish to my 'catalog' ;) see you at 7pm
Be glad you don't live in Poland... :|
No yeast, just a sourdough starter
And ‘Dessert Person’ by Claire Saffitz
As for the non-vegan version of the challah and instructions for the knots I followed recipes from ‘Modern Sourdough’ by Michelle Eshkeri
Here’s a link to the vegan brioche I used in my bakes - https://www.rainbownourishments.com/buttery-vegan-brioche/
Depends on the recipe I’m following. Sometimes I do use a Dutch oven but other times, like the challah in my photos, was baked ‘loose’
I’ve also used a sourdough starter made of Strong White Wheat Flour. That’s what gave the bread it’s fluffiness 2/2
I used coconut milk instead of normal one, vegan butter (100% plant based) and flaxseed mixture as a substitute for egg. 1/2
Us Poles enjoy other people struggling with spelling of our names as demonstrated in this clip ? https://youtu.be/AfKZclMWS1U
From the ground floor, you couldn’t see anything anyway even before we build the timber wall. Upstairs though, the view is still amazing ?
Thanks for the advice! Will keep that in mind when we decide to plant some mint ?
On the picture it’s bay leaf and curry plant...no mind in our little herb planter ?
It was a waterlogged lawn and we wanted some more living space that wasn’t shaded as the garden is north-facing
Privacy reasons and it is school grounds behind the wall and we don’t want not footballs in our garden
That’s exactly why ?
Thanks ? really happy how it turned out especially since we designed it ourselves ?
Privacy reasons and it's a school football (soccer) pitch so also to reduce chances of balls landing in our garden :)
There are gutters installed under the soil to collect the excess water and direct it to the sewage nearby
Not yet ?

You’re welcome! We all have an ‘old boy’ that we miss. Good to know my Midna gave someone the ‘warm and fuzzies’ ?
Well, as a polish person myself, I can safely say that at least this one recipe from the book is definitely good ?
Happy to share the recipe (found it online) but, do you speak Polish? ?
