4h is like an American youth extra- curricular that’s geared towards agriculture and things like that. And not dissimilar from a dog show there are judges for the animals, but the participants have to answer questions about the animals too, so even if the animals score high, the participants knowledge is what sets it apart.
I’m sorry to hear that, that must have been a lot to go through and must still be going through. Hugs! I know it doesn’t fix it, but I’m glad you were able to express it

You are trying your best, and that is all anyone can ask for! I do understand, bc with our age gap, I was exiting college when they were still in elementary school. I asked myself the question many times, “Is there something more I could have done?” Even if the answer is no, we can only control so much, so give yourself some credit, and try again. And if the answer is still no, please don’t beat yourself up over it

I’m so sorry to hear that and I totally get what you’re going through. I have been so very careful about what I have said directly to my siblings in the hopes that one day they can sort it out for themselves, and I truly hope the same peace for you.
While the article you cited is absolutely horrible, I know my sister’s bun-buns are not in the same situation(we live in NY). She definitely retains all right to Angel (her), and would never put her buns in a situation where her rights to take them home safely would be questioned.
