UK gun laws are sensible, in that you have to demonstrate being a sensible person to even understand them, let alone follow the process, and that's enough gravel on the road to slow or stop most loonies. Unlike the US where I can walk into a gun shop and walk out within 30 minutes with most guns and matching ammo.
