Never a conformist, I'd rather play Devil's advocate, thank you!

I think he'd aim for a different location for that face-plant.

My sister had (amongst other things) open heart surgery when she was 2 months old. They ended up nicking, and subsequently removing one of her vocal cords. Never heard anyone scream louder than what she could. She's in her 50's now, and still have no trouble speaking. Or screaming, depending on circumstances.

I firmly believe there is a huge marketing miss in not using Binny McBinface.

Was going to say they better hope those are all crimped properly, you covered it. I've managed to get a few installs to that level, it usually lasts 6 months before reverting to real life.

Try sticking a thin pillow between your knees when on your right side. Adjust height until comfortable. Worked like a charm for me.

Not just cash, thats a minor. Its support in getting re-elected, in geytting dirt on their opponents etc. that's the big one. That's where Israeli intellegence pays them really well.

Hence why the capsule didn't do a full rotation and ended up upside down.

Which is why I say that religion, as a concept, is the most evil thing humanity has ever invented. It allows those who follow it to do the most attrocious things imaginable, all in the name of their God(s), and when society points out how evil that was they can simply tunr around and say: "Well, I (or my version of that religion) doesn't support that." and suddenly they are excempt from scrutiny. Where are the 1.8 Billion Christians in the world speaking out against MAGA??

Having influence through wealth isn't necessarily a bad thing. Its what you do with it that mattters. MAGA uses that influence to propogate their evil, instead of promoting good.

I've read a similar thing yesterday, my thoughts were that the 'fix' for it should therfore be to provide better drainage / water recovery system underneath the pool, that way water it loses through the crackks can be recovered, filtered and re-introduced?

She and the sacrificial brother that needed to keep her busy gets flatly ignored.

Eugenics is (for me) more something to be watched out for on a large scale, forced facilitation to conform to a set standard, i.e. what the Nazi's wanted. Personal choice in things like having a boy / girl, or as this discussion, testing for certain disorders I have no issue with. Having said that, I'm firmly against 2nd trimester and later abortions unless for medical purposes, if you let it go that far then in my opinion you're dealing with a viable fetus and it becomes difficult to justify A

Best part to the bible thumpers is that the bible itself is clear that life only begins as the first breath is drawn. How can you kill something that isn't alive?

Fun fact: According to the premise of the 2024 movie Elevation the Ecuadorian government would be the only seated intact government left in the world.

I've just realised that there is a massive disconnect between how people outside of the US vs inside the US views firearms. I'm in Australia, here firearms don't have the bad rep that they do in the US, as its mostly police and military that use them. Cases like the Bondi massacre is the VERY rare outlier for us.

^^^ This. I feel like a lot of those who are wholly against AI would be the same ones who would have been wholly against cars back when they came out (it will destroy the buggy maker industry!). It's a tool, and can be used well or poorly. No truer word written. An advanced tool, like a firearm, so you need to be responsible and smart in how you use it. And like firearms its easily abused and used for nefarious reasons. Still doesn't mean it can't be used with good outcomes.
