Have lived in Houston, TX my whole life, which is a freaking amazing place to live bc you can find almost anything your heart desires here - if you don’t mind driving a long way. The total area of Houston Metro is 633 sq mi, so it might feel like a trek but it’s all out there, and you’ll eventually get there. We are known for our MAJOR SUCKFEST of Heat & Humidity events. The heat index (feels-like temp) is 113°F all wk - hence the avatar. My fantasy is to move to a cottage in the English countryside. That’s pretty much the polar opposite of where I live now. Not sure I could adapt to the change, but I’d love to try. Ok maybe not move there but spend a yr or so.
