Yeah I was trying to go for a warpstone look and by time I learned a better way to paint green plasma I didn't feel like changing it haha

I'm using that as my holder/handle for painting that bit. The coins I'm using to weigh it down so it doesn't easily tip over.

Haha! Base of Castellan green, Antonian shade and then loren green for highlights
I'm making a Warhammer 40k Adeptus Mechanicus army but mixing in Old Warhammer for flavor/looks.
You can also look up the original fantasy Warhammer sometimes known as Warhammer: Old World. It was the world prior to AoS before End Times.
Not sure about an idiots guide but if you look Up Warhammer: Age of Sigmar or Warhammer 40k you can find good lore videos or read the wikis.
The spikes were also from the Cawdor gang. They are like bayonets on their staff gun things.
Didn't change too much. The spike on both ends of the axe and I took the claw off the robot arm and swapped it for a gun from Cawdor Gang.
