I get it, she’s a fascinating aspect of this administration, whether it’s an affair right in front of all of us or she’s his diaper changing hospice nurse, however because of all of the media attention it’s getting, I can’t help but wonder if it’s not just a distraction to keep us talking about something negative while they continue to take away our rights and transfer more wealth into their coffers. We moved our doming machine from a temperature controlled room to a larger open air facility about three weeks ago and so far the only problems are the same old ones that we had in the controlled room which is random occasional random seeming spill over.
If the high school graduates I work with can pump out tens of thousands of domed decals and name badges week after week then I’m pretty sure we could train anyone to do it. It’s not that complicated.

This mess we’re in falls on the supporters of this regime, and where I live now, they’re everywhere. I’m surrounded by idiots who either don’t read the news at all or are right in line to lick boots and believe it’s what’s best for our country. Most days I just try to make it through the day without suffering a mental breakdown or panic attack and I just try to avoid snapping and going off on the wrong person. It sucks feeling like I can only watch and hope that something changes. I’m not alone.
Which would very quickly turn into me not being able to pay my bills or my mortgage or much less be able to afford food. Is that the “few comforts” you speak of? Because once I’m homeless and out of work, starving on the street, the same government will be there to break up the homeless encampment I try to live at in order to survive. I recognize I’m being somewhat pedantic but I’m overly cautious about this because I’ve been homeless before. It sucked and it almost killed me.
I don’t believe marches or holding up signs does shit. I’m all for mass strikes but where I live, surrounded by Trump supporters, it would likely result in me being one of maybe three or four employees out of 70 who maybe try to strike. We’re not in a union and we live in an “at-will employment” state where attempting to strike to protest the government is considered a “political strike” and is not a federally protected form of striking. So basically I’d just get fired and be unable to work.
I’m curious what “a few comforts” means in this context? Should I go fight the police state and be sentenced to 100 years in prison like those anti fascist protestors in Texas? Or should I become a hacker and end up on some fbi watch list and potentially be tortured in some new Guantanamo style facility made for American citizens?
