I was peer pressured into getting it, and it was mostly just me being ignored by the same people that nagged me to sign up, old classmates trying to con me with their MLMs, and being harassed by my father's dirt bag relatives. I'm sorry that you've been through that, and thankful that you're calling out the "Takes two" mentality. I wish people understood how harmful it is to say that to someone that has endured abuse. I also went through years of abuse and one of the most hurtful things was to hear people give me the "tango" line. It really made me realize how little they cared about me or my safety. I felt so belittled and unloved. Still do.
I'm so sorry for your loss, but also so glad you got to be there with him in his final moments. ๐ฅบ๐๐ค

This reminded me of visiting my high school friend at her fast food job. The woman in front of me ordered a hot dog, so my (rather busty) friend leans forward to prep it and the customer looks at her dead serious and says, "Ma'am, please get your breasts out of my hotdog." ๐ญI hadn't thought of that in a while. ๐
