My wife laughed when I nicknamed #5 H'aanit "Hunter McHottie". And then she heard the voice line "Comen, if thou darest!" and she said "...Yeah, that scans."

See, I thought it was like the British "Torrie Power Stance" thing i heard of a while back to keep oneself standing straight for photos. I had assumed he was trying to hide how bulbous his gut was.

He also voiced the protagonist in the Arcadia series on Netflix, specifically Trollhunters. The amazing thing was that we were given the "in memory" thinger at the end of the second episode, but it wasn't until I think the 4th season before they had to change actors.

#10 My common response to Devil's Advocates is "Are you under the impression that he is somehow running low on Lawyers?"

He is something of an Outlier.

There's a module that includes a wandering Mountain. I believe it travels planes as well, but it's been a while. My wife found a conversion of it to... at least 4e, maybe 5. It's called Dragon Mountain.

Meanwhile, having grown up in the American South, we had a long-standing joke: News Broadcast: "A local man dropped a snowcone on the ground outside his home today, causing school to be cancelled in three counties."

I upgraded the family's computers with tax refund last February. Wife and son got Micro-PCs that are absolutely enough for any game they've tried to play on them. I hand-built mine. Ram is 4-5x what I paid last year. Literally, 32 gigs was a little over a hundred. Now it's 500. So companies can fire employees and fob us off on stupid robots that hallucinate.

She'd had a surgery to relieve some of it about 10 years prior to that. That was before we knew each other. She had a good doctor who helped her treat her symptoms about every way that wouldn't be a stroke risk for her. They knew about the fibroid, and thought an IUD would help by doing some to offset her period as much as possible, thus limiting how much blood accumulated in the endometrial tissue. I think, I'm not a doctor, and she's not awake right now for me to corroborate.

My wife had terrible endometriosis. About 8 years ago, or so, she had a hysterectomy. There was a fibroid there that was larger than her child was when he was born. he was a premie, but still, she said that explained a lot... She was dealing with a growth the size of a 27 week fetus.

I'm sorry, I just find this joke very tired. When Italy pays my grocery bills, Italy gets a vote in what I do with my Groceries.

I don't know why... But the only thing I can hear when seeing Celestia's face is "Stock Distressed Chicken Scream". Like "Buh-GAAAAWCK!"

#8 No, not just haunted, but a real estate scheme on top of the haunting.

IIRC, it's because a lot of her design elements were to invoke Nuclear imagery. Like, she's always got a foot in a bag, referencing Chernobyl's Elephant's Foot. Her weapon is, I think, supposed to be a control rod, or inspired by one. I don't remember how all the design elements break down, but it's all nuclear.

#28 So one year, I was baking cookies for the Theater Department's bake sale. I was making peppermint spritz cookies, which involved a cookie press. Unfortunately, it started snowing as I was baking, and sucked the moisture out of the air. The dough suddenly became very dry, resulting in a tray of Peppermint Penises. One of my classmates held one of the cookies upside down up to a teacher, who was gay, and said "Hey Teacher! Want a Cookie? It's a Heart!"

Gandahar kind of has that Older Anime vibe. I think it's French, in origin. It took me YEARS to find it again, because I didn't remember the name, and "Cartoon Movie with nudity and protagonist has a gun that shoots fast-growing vines" was an unfruitful google search for a long time.

Oh, Fire and Ice was watched intentionally, a couple of decades later. This was a random find in the late 80s, early 90s. The Folks said, "Hey, Cartoons! The kids will love these!"

I'm going to say watch them yourself, first. Shinbone Alley is a musical from the 60s, and is not really meant for children, At least one song deals with Suicide. Gandahar is a film with lots of nudity, but it's presented as fairly normal, not in a sexual way. Wizards deals with Graphic Violence, fascism, war, genocide, And the character designs are more... well, the dark haired lady there isn't the only one like that. You know your kid better, so make your own judgements.

One weekend when I was little, my folks brought home three cartoon movies from the local video rental place. It was Shinbone Alley, Gandahar: Light Years, And This. Life changing weekend, that was.

My job just adopted an AI feature... I work at a Hotel. It sends us an AI readout of our incoming guests, how many times they've stayed with us, and special notes about them. It dropped over my weekend... I came back to work last night and saw it in my inbox. I truly hate this.
