Fool you once, shame on me...
Btw as you are already here I could tell you a little fairytale or so to speak.
Our modest story begins... well, it actually begins from the very end of it, which is rather odd, as usually stories tend to begin from their own beginnings, I suppose.
Nevertheless let's not get carried away with the machinery and hardware of an ordinary story, for the story we are about to hear, as modest as it is, is hardly any usual one. So let us begin...
Once upon a time, far far away in a land which name I no longer seem to remember, lived a little frog, quite greenish and frankly quite ordinary looking aswell. He fooled me harshly when I first met him. It was later that I learned never to rush to any sudden conclusions based on the cover of the book, as it is usually the inside that matters the most. But for my excuse I was young, full of dreams and imagination...
Yes, well anyhow, our little green froggy was sitting on a water lily... Hmm wait no he wasn't sitting on a water lily, oh no no, there was something else... a little rock, yes ofc, how could I've ever forgotten that small but evidently vitaly important detail in our story...
So our frog was sitting on an old rough rock close to the remote pond in the middle of the vast forest full of life. Oh how beautiful it was there with all the birds humming surrounded by emerald green forest and the trees talking to each other in a quiet language unknown to any man or woman. Nowadays u cannot find a forest like that anymore. It was full of love and magic...
Shh can u hear it... Amongst the singing and humming another sound approaches, silent steps, softer than morning dew dripping down from the crown leaves of a ruby red rose.
Suddenly out of nowhere a princess, walking towards the pond, wandering in all her beauty, lost in this baffling forest. Tired as she was, our princess had sighted a little pond and an even smaller rock laying beside it. She walked to it and set herself resting.
"Excuse me"
sounded a low voice right behind her. Princess frightened and with sudden moves stood up and looked at the creature who just had spoken to her.
"I'm sorry to bother but you were sitting right in front of me and I couldn't see much, maybe if it's not that much to ask you could sit a bit, well, sit a bit farther I suppose"
Princess looked irreverently at our little green frog and cattily said:
"Who do you think you are to speak to me like that. I am the crown princess Mary* and I demand you to introduce yourself to me"
*the narrator has evidently forgotten her name, so for the sake of this story, let's just call her Mary*
"I am no one important but still equally substantial as are you, Princess" the frog replied.
Ofc we can all imagine how this kind of manner of speaking upset Mary and I would be delighted to share it with you dear readers, but out of nowhere another character appeared into our modest story. You could even say he is the main character as it is he who changes the lives of our little frog and Princess forever.
Over the vast forest, a little summer breeze caressed the treetops and jiggled with leaves. Along with that breeze flew a little bumblebee, yellow black striped and awfully tired, looking for a place to rest its wings. And then he saw it, the most breathtakingly beautiful flower ever shined, more stunning than the winter cold and hotter than the sun itself, even the mighty clouds sailing in the vast blue sky couldn't take their eyes off of her.
Our little bee fell in the deepest pit of love, overwhelmed with romance and desire to just merely touch that silksmooth skin of hers.
The little bumblebee floated closer and closer, eyes full of the princess so gentle.
He landed on the side of her right shin, falling in love even more and more...
"Get away from me"
yelled the princess and hit our little bee with her hand. Shocked, and in unspeakable pain, confused bee stang Princess, ripping his body in half.
Princess screamed, jumped onto the rock and accidentally stepped on our little frog who with a splashing noise died instantly. Princess slipped on the warm blood, knocked her head on the rock and fell to the dark pond who took her with the utmost delight.
Little bumblebee was laying on the grass where she slapped her, looking at the princess who was silently drifting farther and farther.
"Forgive me, my princess... " said the little bee and closed his eyes one last time.
Warm blood dribbled down the rough rock, forming little creeks and rivers, flowing onward into the unknown...
And so ends our little story before it even got started. But this is not the end my dear friends, it's rather a new beginning, a new start, a new hope...
