Why do so many internet posts say “baby kitten”? Kittens are the correct name for baby cats.
As an American who is completely on Canada’s side on this, I agree.

Are manatees attracted to your kayak light when it’s dark? Or is it just another thing that they might be curious about?
I never was, but my brother and his two friends would have a “snack” before delivering the evening newspaper (yeah, we’re old), and they could demolish an entire loaf of bread, half a jar of peanut butter and a gallon of milk in one sitting.
It can be erased if the debt is only in the one person’s name. This is why my husband and I have always kept separate health insurance (except when he was laid off).
I don’t know what my parents paid 25+ years ago to have an overgrown palm in their very steeply sloped back yard cut down, but it had to be done from the too down, too. Palms are very heavy, so the pieces weren’t that big, either.
My mother bought an Amana in 1975 that lasted at least 25 years.
My Amana is 22 years old and still working just fine.
Well, in Erik Larson’s book about the Lusitania (Dead Wake), the survivors’ accounts were that people were NOT panicking.
I’m still wearing 3 skirts that I thrifted in the early 2000s. One of my T-shirts was bought in 1987.
In 1983, my family moved to Japan (military), and the used car we bought from someone on the base had a built-in 8-track player, and the previous owners left one tape in the car…an album by Queen.
Ylva is an astonishingly beautiful kitty, and I hope her full diagnosis is as mild as possible.
And unlike a lot of pro athletes, Jim Abbott was (is) a genuinely nice person. When he played, he never turned down opportunities to visit kids’ hospitals or charities if he could help it.
It still is the biggest materially if you count how much of that material actually works and can be effectively used. Russia has big stocks of aged, decrepit, functionally useless weapons.

We have a void who loves shrimp, too.
My 90-year old mother quit smoking 42 years ago. She never smoked again, but she craved cigarettes for the better part of a decade before the cravings stopped completely. I know it’s hard to quit.
It’s not so much the protein aspect as the “soy is in this when it doesn’t have to be” aspect. Baked goods are particularly notorious.
I hate soy because my SO is allergic to it and it costs a lot of money to find him soy-free foods (aside from meat, fruit, & veggies).
My void doesn’t like cuddling either. ☹️She was never abused, either. She’s just ornery.
I didn’t realize how complex Sigrid’s basket set-up was.
Ooh, this is VERY helpful! I’ve been trying to figure out how to make a headdress for a Demeter/Ceres costume.
Not as long as it lives on in conjunto, it won’t.
Driving from Beaumont, Tx, on the Louisiana border to El Paso, on the Arizona border, takes about 12 hours, not 20. But that’s still a long way.
Sometimes even Americans don’t grasp how big California, Texas, and especially Alaska are.
