After visiting Japan at the tail-end of summer, I get why this is such a common trend in anime art. Their summers are absolutely miserable.
i remember during covid i bought a ps5 for my brother as a move-in gift (got lucky on the official sony site), but turns out his friend ALSO got him a ps5. so i listed it on craigslist for the retail price and within minutes i was completely spammed with offers. ended up selling to the first guy and he was CONVINCED that it was a faulty ps5 (despite stil being in the packaging) and asked me to follow him home to check if it worked... like bro.. cmon
in the same boat and i'm in my 30s. don't feel like i'm missing anything tbh, friends are cool about it too
