To stun them a bunch, or you can parry their attacks. There are a lot of fun ways to beat them and make it look easy! :)
Just save before hand and fight them until you get their patterns down. You can dodge and get flurry rushes, shoot them in the face 1/2

TLA is better, but Korra is very entertaining. It's great to get to experience more stories from the same world. And seeing how it changed.
