I have been away from my family since August. I'll miss my daughter's 10th birthday. 49 days till I'm home.
This is not just in the US. I'm from Australia and we were part of this program through our daycare centre.
Which is weird cause there is so much yoghurt! Fresh milk is difficult to get, but not impossible. Coffee is made with long-life milk, so tastes weird.
I am currently living in China, and I miss cheese. I desperately miss cheese. Real, bitey, cheesy cheese.
Might I suggest looking at ESL? I got my senior school teaching quals, but went straight into teaching international students. So much better, and you still use those awesome skills
