While I love the sentiment behind it, he didn’t have any plan to pay for all the free care ERs would have to provide. Now they’ve become a social safety net for mentally ill, homeless, or people without routine care. Hospitals can’t operate at a deficit, so they shift the cost of this care by charging everyone else more.

I blame patients who aren’t insured, particularly if they overuse hospital resources. I also blame bloated hospital administrations.
I think cows are the animal vector for bacillus anthracis. Rats/fleas carried yersinia pestis (bubonic plague). Maybe rat’s just a terrorist
