That being said, that only really works if the country honors elections. Russia may not. I don't plan on leaving the US but if the orange pedophile of a president that we currently have is allowed to run for a 3rd term, my wife and I will probably take advantage of her Canadian citizenship before we're not allowed to leave.
Here's a thought. I say this about my fellow Americans too. If there is an if the government is doing evil/bad/corrupt stuff and people who disagree with that stuff leave the country, then eventually when election time comes around again that's 5 million less potential voters that could fix things. Good for you, you've left the corrupt country, but its partially your fault that it says corrupt. 1/2
