Each star doesn't have at least one rocky-metallic planet it its orbit, though. Not sure where that statement is coming from. You could argue that the average number of those planets per star is around one (not sure we have enough data to say that yet though).

I need your rod. I mean your rod. I mean your rod. I mean your fishing penis. I mean...
Yeah, I try not to think about that part too much. At least my town is less insane so I have a tiny island of relative safety.
It’s weird how living in a deep red state really simplifies politics (at the state and federal level). I don’t have to angst about who I support in the primary or whether the Dem in the general is pro-Israel or whatever, because no matter what I do John Q. Racist III is gonna win with 78% of the vote.
Or not enough!
These horses are so goddam horny
Lots of fun ideas here, but the actual answer is that it isn't expanding "into" anything. In the inflating balloon analogy, the universe isn't the space inside of the balloon. It is instead the surface of the balloon, stretching but not displacing a different 2-D area. Space itself is what's expanding, so if there is anything you could say it is moving in or through, it would be 4-D "space".
That particular swath of land has been watered with human blood for pretty much all of recorded history. The violence is unlikely to stop anytime in the near future.
I still remember when Chris Christie vetoed that bill in New Jersey that would have required pigs be kept in pens large enough that they could turn around. Now there was a true friend of the meat industry if ever there was one.
I was referring to edible fruit. I kind of thought that would be obvious.
Fruit. Literally grown to be eaten. Tree makes us snack, we plant tree baby in our poop
Ignorant but free
