It took me until I was 28 to realize my father was an awful person. I'm 29 now and I'm still coming to grips with it all..

You would be right on the first try. Estoc is a thrusting weapon I believe. So not curved.
I think it was reported by the guy he punched that it hurt to the point he had to miss work the next day as it was difficult to do anything.
They have like no idea how to bear. But at least it's comical.

I would also add that it helps a lot to learn martial arts so as not to rely on taser or sidearm.
At most of the departments I knew at least.
I think, if anything, it police need more training in psychology and interpersonal communications. I did. I wasn't well liked by others.
It's good that they do. I will say though that their police aren't actively hunted as much. That tends to add to negative interactions sadly
Maybe if the job paid as much as doctors it would make sense.

As in multiple degrees? While encouraging more training is always a good idea, that does seem to be a little too much.
I don't know what you might consider a low bar of entry. In my state, police are required a minimum of 919 hours of training. What is high?
