Burlesque shows are not strip shows, and some of them are barely sexual. Doesn't mean I'd suggest taking kids to one.
But also the self-aggrandizing show of shallow materialism and pageantry isn't the best thing to normalize for a growing mind

I've been to drag shows. Nothing against what they do, but I wouldn't take my child to one. Nor would I take a child to a burlesque show.
I wouldn't expose my children to either, but to each their own.
