I live in AZ and we do this to people all the time. If you are going to live here you really should learn basic Spanish.
My wife's family is from Mexico. She doesn't speak any Spanish.
There are lots of Hispanics in the US who are very American. Many don't speak any Spanish and eat Taco Bell. Taco Bell is the worst part.

Quite a few of them contracted Covid. We had one die and another who is pretty bad off now.
Could be they are just ugly? Maybe they are smart enough not to breath solvents? Maybe the wrong kind of mask, which screams China?
COLO and onsite computer engineers were one of the highest risk categories. Could covid survive in a server rack? I have no idea.
