As someone who grew up in NJ and moved away after college... my lazy ass kinda misses it. They rarely started conversations it was just "fill it regular" then close my window.

About half of voters did. If you consider voter turnout, then yes it's closer to 1/3 of eligible voters. I would still bet your whatever country you come from has comparable numbers. Regardless, the point still stands. 1/3 is a large percentage and it makes no sense for you to cast you judgements against "all" Americans when so many of us are on the right side of things and doing what they can despite such opposition at home. Be mad at the other 2/3, but don't lump everyone in together.

I never saw this episode as especially bad or good. Never really thought about it specifically tbh. Just curious, why you (and maybe most people?) dislike this episode in particular?

It's not as well known as such in many areas. There are lots of places that offer pole dancing lessons, but they are easy to miss if you aren't looking. My first thought would have been to associate it with strippers too if my wife didnt get into pole dancing a few years ago. That's the only way many people have it presented to them. Doesn't make them dirty weirdos, just means they havent been exposed to the real thing. Maybe instead of insulting them you can just educate them and move on.

A lock can be looped through the whole in the latch to prevent it from coming off when unlocked. But even without that, it's not uncommon to have just a latch (no lock) that just prevents animals/weather/etc from opening the gate.
Maybe they take turns cleaning each other, that'd be pretty cool
