It's funny to see a bad reply where the OP should be.
On a related note, underwires are a special type of hell for several women in my circles.

Sadly there is such a thing as back problems that make any bra uncomfortable to wear in perpetuity.
Judging from my wife's lack of upper body strength and parameters, that sounds right to me.
