Never let people distract you: the only divide that matters is class divide. Not race, not generation, not sex: the ruling class will use any chance at an "other" to distract you from their evil.
While I agree that political engagement is important to assert individual rights and needs in *every* economic system, the current system is *exceptionally* rough and often doesn't assess people as having inherent worth and dignity simply for being an individual.
Society can and should be cooperative, not competitive, and want the same quality of life for the persons with the least and most power, regardless of race, sex, citizenship, identity, disability, or any other distinguishing factor.
That's fair, but "hey, it's been way worse in the past!" is hardly grounds for not using our society's resources to improve things for the people today.
I'm a veteran. If the purpose weren't violence, the housing, subsidised childcare and schooling systems, commissary and PX system, paid leave, familial support, and healthcare would be a good starting point.
Thanking a veteran for their service online can read as hollow, like "thoughts and prayers". Words can't convey admiration. You have to see it to really get the benefit. Wish I could give that to you. VA funding is an embarrassment. M.I.C. is a massive socialist umbrella. Medical science/vaccines, satellites, industrial and technological research and development.. it's so much more than the millions of American jobs in resources, shipping, and production of weapons of defense.

8. Communism, socialism, serfdom.. all economic systems are prone to greed and corruption without substantial oversight and regulations.

You might want to save “exceptionally” for eras such as U.S. 1650s through 1860s when slavery was prevalent, or 1940s Germany.

Current system is "rough" because it's sabotaged by a party that's sole purpose is to make the system easier to abuse for Cash Holes.

I'd love a "cooperative" utopia too. The military industrial complex is the most socialized system we have going for us. Thoughts on that?
