I wonder how many women really react like this. Don't get me wrong, I know there are some snobbish women who don't have much humor, but I feel like 95% of the women I know in my life (including me) would laugh at and appreciate something like this.
If they're not saying you're childish in a loving way, it's time to get a new one. I know I'll tell my boyfriend he's childish but I love it and he knows it.
Who are all these humorless mystery girlfriends who think every silly thing her boyfriend does is "childish"? I'd crack up if my husband brought this home. I don't know any woman who wouldn't.
Spoiler alert. There is no girlfriend that said this. I have seen almost identical headings under other photos (stick a guy found, plate that fell and split in half).
Sure, it's cute and silly and fun, and maybe there's some context like she wants to impress her family or co-workers that she's a serious adult. Or maybe she's overthinking it and the friends she has over will find it hilarious. Either way, I don't see any reason to make it a weird gendered thing.
Ah there you are. I was wondering where you were. There's always at least one of you that shows up to turn everything into a weird gender issue then claims it's someone else doing it. "the boys will understand" is a joke and if you don't like gendered things being used too damn bad. That's your problem not everyone else's.
Yeah, I kinda hate the whole mildy sexist trend of "only boys (or only girls) will get this/find this cool" as if what's wrong is the gender of those involved and not literally any other context. I get it's a joke but it's a shitty joke genre regardless
When my niece was a toddler, she climbed onto the table, and ate pumpkin pie with her fist. We didn't get a picture, but I did a dramatic reenactment, and everyone told me the picture was funny, everyone except the lady who blocked me without discussion.
Which one's the black one again? I keep thinking Forever Knight (largest trunk room available in any model vehicle!) but that was a cop show, not haunted mysteries.
Ain't that bad yet... if you see the Ectomobile, a DeSoto with blacked out windows, Ozzys van and the Frog brothers on BMXs all roll up, get out of the city, get out of the state...

I might steal this, my wife would love it. Especially if I used one of our Mario Kart hot wheels.

Imagine being so toxic that you use "childish" to discourage someone's attempt at having fun.

When an SO says "You're so childish" the answer "That's why I'm with YOU!" may not work all the time.
