Many believe it was allowed in order to justify a war in Palestine.

They needed an "excuse" to genocide Palestine. That is all. Fuck Israel.

Wouldn't surprise me, we did something similar with 9/11. Dead civilians are great political capital.

It shocks me to realize people still don't know that Israel wanted to provoke and strengthen hamas so they could justify fighting back when the attack eventually came.

Who cares about Israel?

Yeah this was public knowledge I figured, including that Netanyahu directly funded Hamas in order to prevent Gaza from linking with WB.

Isreal wants their own Suez Canal routed straight through Gaza instead of around it. This would allow them to create a more direct path which would save them a substantial amount of money in constructing it. Truly evil. https://www.middleeastmonitor.com/20250917-gazas-genocide-the-ben-gurion-canal-and-the-politics-of-reconstruction-erasure-by-design/

I wouldn't be surprised if they were behind it, or enabled it somehow...

The odd thing is that in the days after, a special unit confiscated all CCTV and cell recordings from the area.

I have seen credible accounts that they had received information pertaining to the attack beforehand. What I haven't seen is a breakdown of if 1) The information they received came from reliable sources, and 2) If they were able to separate that information from the general noise.

Seems pretty reliable at this point.

They have scouts/lookouts on the border, specifically to notice that shit. Some of them alerted their superior, they were dismissed. Guess who were among the first to die in the attack?

Keep in mind, this is an article from the BBC, which is not exactly the most critical of Israel.

Now combine with this: https://www.nytimes.com/2023/11/30/world/middleeast/israel-hamas-attack-intelligence.html
