Yeah, it's bad, but "it merges the US and Israel military!" overstates it tremendously. Again, it's bad, and should not have passed (and hopefully will fail in the senate), but it's not "US and Israel soldiers will be side-by-side" it's "US weapon development will immediately become Israeli weapon developments"

Except, not really, because they already are. All this does really is temporarily (until someone else repeals it, assuming it even passes the Senate) cut out the time between development and being sold to Israel. Still bad, but it's "the weapons will be usable by Israel within a few weeks of development instead of a few years" bad. Again, still bad, but people are massively overstating what this does (for clicks).
