...I said to my girl friend on my way home from work that I really wanted some fried chicken because I hadn't had any in a very long time. I'll take this as a sign.

Step one: pour $5000 of oil into the boiler.

Chicken. What the fuck size chickens you got there in America! That looks like ostrich

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The chickens have to be big enough to carry guns, so.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Dude... with that much oil? You better watch out for the CIA.

How do you properly dispose of the grease?

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Typically let it cool and scoop into the trash but at that quantity I gotta assume he's arranged with local waste management to pick up buckets or barrels at a time.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It was the quantity I was wondering about. Thanks for answering.

Who is this gentleman, and is he taking friend applications?

1 year ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Turns out his name's Harbison Hopkins, unfortunately he seems to only be on Facebook.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

How do I know it’s perfectly seasoned? I think that requires a taste test. I require that you immediately send me 10 pieces for quality assurance validation.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Trust me, I'm looking at that right there!

If someone has a setup like that. I am assuming I will be talking about the food I am about to eat for a while.

Those four little legs are not enough for me to trust that thing. I need some reinforced concrete lest I burn my feet off.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That is sooooo much oil for a private residence, holy shit

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

1 year ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

"Fry immediately" one piece at a time? Damn that looks delicious but naw we gotta coat and cook more than one at a time.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They put the caption Popeyes fried chicken when he clearly states it is not Popeyes fried chicken

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

They left out the "got nuthin on this right here"

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That man is SUTHUHN.

1 year ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

You could probably fit a person on that ...

1 year ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Not that you should, but you could. Hypothetically.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Cleaning that must be an industrial operation

1 year ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Rofl you think he cleans that?

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Right? Besides, the hot oil will kill any bacteria, right? Right?

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's hundreds of dollars in oil

1 year ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

What are you supposed to do with oil after you deep fry something, do you just throw it done the drain?

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Like people have said, you can filter and reuse but only for so long. I don't believe it's actually safe to perpetually reuse but some people do. I guess since you're reheating it well past survival of bacteria or viruses it probably won't kill you

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

No, that's one of the worst things you can do. Some people filter and reuse it, and it can usually be taken to a recycling center to be repurposed. Pouring it down the drain will lead to clogs, or even "fatbergs."

1 year ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Dont throw to the drain, its bad, It costs to depurate waters, and can clog pipes

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

that much oil, idk. I usually filter and reuse oil a few times then eventually use it for starting fires when cooking on the grill.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

No, you run it though the filter to collect and sediment or crumbs and reuse it. Clean the fryer out too after oils drained

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Cool so after you filter it and re use it doesn't like carry over the flavour of the stuff you fried before, like going from chicken to like potato chips?

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Yes, the oil absorbs a lot of the stronger flavors, so no frying seafood then fried pastries

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Well excuuuuuse me Mr. I'm Too Good For Glazed Fish Donuts.

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

You can use oil infinitely if you filter it after you use it, and food tastes better the longer you reuse it.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No, you cannot use oil infinitely, you can certainly reuse it several times, especially if you are careful not to burn it, but it is in no way infinitely reusable.

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Just don’t ever use it to fry fish unless you never plan to fry anything else in it.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Doesn't it eventually go rancid?

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh i meant it can be used infinite times. Yes, its best to change out well-filtered oil twice per year

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Twice a year is still a lot less than I thought. I figured that it would become unusable within days.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes, it does, different oils go faster or slower, and HOW you cook makes a huge difference but it will eventually go bad.
