It seems like 1% of them at most are Yuri games. Do you have any recommendations? My favorite is probably Volleyball Heaven, it’s way more emotional than I thought it would be, and actually takes me like 10 hours for a play through. Still haven’t done all the routes though.

Think my all-time favorite is still Kindred Spirits on the Roof; there's just something special about the art style, the character chemistry and how the stories suck you in. It's a little pricier than most VNs, but it also took me 56 hours to complete. Must-have for any yuri fan, imho! They also did a few drama CDs and a manga spin-off, but sadly no anime.
Beyond that: Melancholy Love (some great humor), Love Ribbon (very cute), and the Flowers series (lots of bittersweet drama, great writing).

You might be onto something... I never actually played Shivering Isles, did everything there was to do in the base game and Knights of The Nine, and then Oblivion was squeezed out of fun for me (maybe Shivering Isles weren't out yet?). Maybe that's gonna be the thing that will convince me to play it again, eventually.
