If reality becomes inconvenient, simply spray-paint over the word TRUTH and rebrand it as "the narrative." It's propaganda with the subtlety of a fucking leaf blower. ?

The amazing thing isn't that politicians lie. Politicians have lied since the first caveman promised he'd definitely return the borrowed rock.

The amazing thing is watching people cheer while facts are dragged behind a truck and set on fire because Dear Leader found them annoying.

Nothing says "confidence in your policies" quite like attacking journalists, scientists, judges, universities, watchdogs, and anyone else capable of reading beyond a third-grade level.

If every source of information is suddenly your enemy, maybe the problem isn't the information. Maybe it's you.

A healthy democracy asks citizens to think.

An authoritarian movement asks citizens to obey.

And when obedience becomes more important than truth, you don't get patriotism—you get a fucking fan club with flags.
