How to win the war on guns or more accurately limit mass shootings;enforce red flag laws take guns from people who have restraining orders who are guilty of domestic violence.theproblem is law enforcement hates to address these laws citing with some accuracy second amendment rights. And fear ofgetting their ass shot off. The laws are already there, mostly. If the police won’t enforce the laws who? How about ice,let those really toughhombres take thosecalls. They all look like Steven Segal anyway
Exactly, the war was basically lost when the war of independence happened. Because guns became baked into the national identity during that war. It became a core part of the national Mythos, and that is not something easily countered.
Very true, even among gun owners, don't agree on the level of gun control. My brother believes that people should be able to buy what ever the government can have. I think there should be licenses levels with classes & requirements, (like proper gun storage and @ some level a psych evaluation) background checks.
Well most people think Australia banned guns, but that's not what happened. They were just heavily regulated. So now there are different weapon licenses. And each class has its own restrictions on what you can and can't own. ->

Well rifles, shotguns, carbines, & any pistol made before 1898 don't have to be registered in most states.
