the funny thing is the guy in the picture is a nazi.

Has anybody told him what Nazis did to the disabled?

most modern nazi are too stupid and uneducated to know that. Look at nazi rallies, and the "superior race" is in full display of various ailments that would have them be killed if they lived in nazi territory during ww2

The fetishisation of firearms in the US isn't comprehensible for some of us outside the country. Granted there are huge financial interests being protected also. But the obsession from certain sections of the general public is ridiculous.

I have trouble comprehending the logic(or rather the lack thereof) driving the ammosexuals, and I have spent almost 5 decades livingin the states.

I mean it's not really understood by a lot inside the country. I've known a lot of gun people and most are like wtf when something gun related happens.

For a lot it's a hobby/protection so it's 1 or two handguns/ a shotgun at home and the rest are "for fun" with the fun guns being traded and switched out a lot, with a rifle thrown in there if they hunt.

Then the folks with walls of guns and they are obsessed with the second amendment usually get a wide breath by the first group.

In the US, firearms are deeply intertwined with the concepts of freedom, the foundation of the country, self-reliance, and crime reduction.
Concealed carry proponents often refer to themselves as "sheep dogs," guarding the defenseless sheep.
Letting go of guns means losing freedom, turning away from the founding principles of the country, reliance on law enforcement that will arrive too late, and increases in crime as "only outlaws will have guns."
Not saying these are true, just the perception.

Now we got government agents black-bagging citizens and residents from their homes and on the streets and the militia gun nuts are silent.

they just want to cosplay as sheriffs. A romanticisation of a past they pick and choose from (slavery ? nooo we're the land of the free). Add to that the hero complex (who is also a us washing of history to appear as the savior), and there you go, a bunch of morons, gravy seals, couch warriors, who manage to put "killed by gunshot" as the top way of dying for children. Above cancer and car accidents.

Yep. Me too. I completely lost any faith I had in this country after Sandy Hook. And now with ICE agents and an occcupying army running around our cities, it is truly too late to talk about gun control. What a fucking mess.

I mean when colombine happened and they decided to blame every goth kid and video games, you kinda had to be a little sus about it I would hope.

When Columbine happened, I was young and naive. Who they blamed was insane, but I thought it was a one-off incident. It did not take long to see how wrong I was.
