79'er here we got one when I was 4. Me and my older brother used to play a racing game. We did not get that it was a racing game at all. By the time we were old enough to read Nintendo was out. We would realize it was a racing game in our 30's when we helped our parents move and found it all in a box.

I had so many iron-on patches from Activision. If you took a Polaroid of your high score and mailed it in, they'd send you a freaking cool patch. They got lost along the way somewhere, but I felt like the coolest kid ever!
