Lilyara my Beautiful Dog

It’s been a year since I adopted my best friend. About 2 years ago on a late night, she and a pillow case holding her newborn puppies, were dumped in my local shelters parking. When the shelter employees found her she was in terrible condition, covered in mats and ticks. When the puppies were old enough they were all adopted the day they were available. But Miss Lily stayed at the shelter for another 8 months until I found her and fell in love. She was so scared of humans but after weeks of almost daily visits she finally warmed up to me, and I got to bring her home. Ever since we have done everything together. Mountain climbing, road trips, we visit nursing homes and she has her place on my bed every night. She is my best friend and has put so much more joy into every day.
