Most sales guys work on commission. You don't see them all the time.

Engineers cost alot, sales people cost 10 cents a dozen. I understand why I'm not getting new blood.

But if you have a broken product, can't make any sales. You need to have a balance...

I'd love to be able to talk to someone other than level 1 support. Most of the things they can fix, I already know how to do.

No, you're being taken advantage of. They're making a fool of you. Realize your own importance and demand treatment reflecting that.

I say that as man who loves helping serving and aiding. They're shits and you're better than what they offer.

Time to spend some time job hunting, maybe.

nah, I'm building cool shit, I just wish I had the manpower to make it even better.

they have cool shit elsewhere, where you can also find code bros and respect

I know the feeling. Was hired as dev, doing IT support ("my printer doesn't work") for an eternity now because no one is being hired for it.

Engineers and architects learn in a classroom and work in and office . Get in the field and learn how to make shit go together easier.

I am the first call when shit in the field breaks since I built it, I also get to fix it when it goes horribly wrong

I'm referring to construction, whereas you design it and we build it. Most of the time we sit around scratching our heads..saying "but why?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

well I don't build buildings. I build electronic devices with a little bit of robotics

But you build them, and design them and probably operate them...this is like handing off your prints to someone and be like, you got this?
