Back when we got our cat Pixel, I was playing Dead Island and as a kitten, he used to sit on the TV stand and help me kill zombies...he really hated it when the zombies would suddenly rush the screen and scream!
Given that we're letting them do it, do you really think we hadn't considered the possibility and taken some precautions? First, they can't knock it over as we have it secured to the wall. Second, they don't use their claws when playing.
Anyone who gets mad at their cats for taught behavior are idiots.

It's cute until the cat knocks over the TV or scratches the screen.
