11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Who the fuck puts salt on a piña colada?

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Someone is definitely salty

11 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 6

Couple ruined Acuras :(

Someone remembers their periodic table!

11 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Well, I'm in Chemistry right now, so it'd be pretty sad if I didn't.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Where is the debris from the wall breaking?

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

probably under the salt.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

How did it not hit the cars? Unless it fell inward but how would the salt then fall outward?

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Is the factory right next to an Acura dealership?

11 years ago | Likes 34 Dislikes 0

Yep. McGrath Acura's downtown Chicago location.

11 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

When you do the math you chooooose McGrath

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Hell yeah.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Those cars got a-salted.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

11 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Those cars are fucked. Literally, salt will RUIN your car.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Considering how much their damn boxes of salt leak, this seems normal for a warehouse.

11 years ago | Likes 2731 Dislikes 8

Preach

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That should be considered a deadly a-salt on their name

11 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 2

And all over the Acura dealership next door.

11 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

When did people stop doing "Previously on Imgur"? I go backwards from Newest First and I never get these references until 5 minutes later :(

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

It's the slogan for Morton Salt, not an imgur reference.

Actually, that's an Acura dealership. And it looks like the service dept. Those cars are ones that people brought in for work.

11 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 3

Holy shit you're right.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I might be a car nerd.

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Those are the best kind.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I hope that this is exactly what the CEO said.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There will be salt.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I was going to make a joke of this nature. Well played, good sir.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh my god the rust.

11 years ago | Likes 399 Dislikes 9

Well if it's not raining or otherwise precipitating just the opposite will happen. The cars will be nicely cured.

11 years ago | Likes 112 Dislikes 0

There's always moisture though. It does not take a lot. Besides, rust is the least of their worries...

11 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

If you used air to blow out/off the salt, like a leaf blower, it might not be too bad. Do not use water and try washing off.

11 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Leaf blower can!

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Or use lots of water to dissolve and then rinse away the salt

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

On reflection if a leaf blower is used we've just made a ghetto sandblaster. Goodbye paint.

11 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

"Ghetto Sandblaster" (or maybe Soundblaster) is an amazing name for a rap group.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This is Chicago. Trust me. Those cars were going to be covered in disgusting salty mush every winter anyway.

11 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Oh my god the salt

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The bricks ...

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Those cars are absolutely worthless now.

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 13

Not unless they actually broke from the weight of the salt. Pour some table salt on your car and see what happens: fuck all.

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 4

"Some table salt" & THAT are two vastly different things. I mean, they're half buried in salt!

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Salt is still salt, though :p

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

what if my car is a snail

11 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Then you're fucked.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Rust? But they're so preserved!

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

THIS! So ver much this! I'd never buy those cars, they'll rust to bits in no time flat.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Can't have rust without H2O, dude.

11 years ago | Likes 41 Dislikes 5

There is H20 in the air.

11 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 1

Not enough to cause oxidation in a matter of hours, until they can clean it up.

11 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 4

Prob gonna take more than a few hours to dig their car out and have it cleaned. Keep in mind they can't just wash it off.

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Keep rinsing until the water runs clean. Also the correct method for handling brake fluid on paint.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm with you on this...it will be nearly impossible to get the salt out of every crack (ie. the gaps between the doors and the windows).

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

You must be from The South. Northern mechanics are used to it. :)

11 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

11 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"If only this sugar was as sweet as you" arguably one of the funniest lines from the show.

11 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

White gold!

11 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Texas Tea.... sweetener!

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I find it difficult to believe there is an entire building that's there just to house salt.

11 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 10

It might be for de-iceing the roads. And the factories that produce it have giant ass mountains of it.

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 4

just wait until you learn about grain silos!

11 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

yeah but see, grain silos make sense. An empty warehouse without any sort of sifting/delivery mechanism? That seems odd.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There are huge buildings JUST for salt along highways and in many neighborhoods, specifically for deicing.

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It might be for de-iceing the roads. And the factories that produce it have giant ass mountains of it.

11 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

I'm not confused about the amount as I am by the seeming inconvenience of just having it sitting in a big box. Not a factory or anything

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This was just one warehouse. If you drive past the Morton's plant, there are several huge buildings that obviously do just this.

11 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

You obviously have no idea how much salt is used daily by people then

11 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 1

That much I get, but an open building looking like a warehouse vs something like a silo or some containers seems odd

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

It's very large & not cylindrical, but that is a silo. On that scale I'd assume either bucket loaders ("tractors") or subfloor handling.
