For some reason, I'm getting weird Jewish stereotype vibes off the character design for Plucky's dad here. He reminds me of Mort from Family Guy. Is it just me?

... Could THIS be what I'm remembering.... I remember seeing a Tiny Toon segment when I was little... I think the pig character trying to have a party at home, and for some reason the music chosen was the 1812 ovreture. I remember three sailors singing the "non-cannon" parts, and every time the battleship guns fired the "cannon" part, the sailors went "Sir!". To this day I've not been able to find this clip however, but I'm very sure I didn't dream it.

Funny how because my memory of this song is in the context of the cabaret Smokey Joe's Cafe, I've never actually heard the third verse. They transition to another song halfway through, so when the third verse kicked in, my gut reaction was "waitaminute that's wrong"
