If computers are to be trusted with management decisions now, logic would put that the least paid, but highest specialized workers, aka the people at the bottom, who directly handle product and customers should be the last ones replaces, and the highest compensated cookie-cutter business grads in the C-Suite that have no specialized industry / company-based knowledge who give vague directions and hold progress meetings so they can tell another expensive C Suite above, should be the first to go.

Well, this raises an interesting point - in the AI craze, management positions typically aren't on the chopping block. But Business Administration school tells us business is 80% numbers and formulae, which computers have always been good with, and if the AI hype is to be believed computers are now capable of that 20% of business that is "gut intuition" and "visionary thinking". Meaning AI would be perfect for taking over management jobs. But curiously, managers never consider this.. Wonder why?
