“When life gives you lemons, don’t make lemonade. Make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don’t want your damn lemons, what the hell am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life’s manager!”

It would be really refreshing if a lemonade stand opened up right next to the Washington monument, a really big one with plenty of room for all the customers

I remember watching the whole series on YouTube. It was awesome.

Fun fact: when the revolutionaries stormed the Bastille, it had already been scheduled for demolition and only held seven prisoners.

1 year ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

It was a symbole of the oppressive monarchy, much like storming your capitole was a symbole of the end of your democracy.

Absolutely.

I need that hat

Nice

Have to sell a load of lemonade to pay that off.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I think chopped oranges would be more appropriate.

Rusty Cage is sane, I swear. Jokes aside, the guy is an excellent engineer and a musician.

The "need head" cap is hilarious

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Is there a YouTube link for this video? I don't have tiktok and the videos often don't work right without the app

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Search Rusty Cage, he also does music

Don't wanna be a bitch, but everyone out here should know that the Nazis also used the guillotine. Like A LOT!

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

They also had BMWs and Volkswagens. Im not seeing what you're getting at.

Running low on lemons...

When life gives you fascism, make lemonade!

1 year ago | Likes 456 Dislikes 8

When life gives you lemons, freeze them and throw at fascists.

1 year ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

Better to squeeze them into a super soaker and aim for the fascists eyes

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Can we invent combustible lemon's? And then burn their house down? With the Lemons?

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

In the German dub it's lemon granades and I think that's pretty cool.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Wake me up when Americans start actually making lemonade instead of just talking about it.

1 year ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 5

You're gonna get to sleep a long damn time. They love to talk a big game but they've proven that they'll let the fascists literally disappear people and the worst they'll do in response is shake their head or write a sternly worded letter.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

It requires a tipping point where people are willing to revolt en masse.. otherwise, you just get mowed down by the police, very heavily armed police.

I dare say anybody would be hesitant to revolt in a police state until they have vastly superior numbers.

Or at best, hold a sign for an hour or two on some weekends. If only the Free World didn't have to suffer as well for their cowardice.

after paying $20 for instructions, which is either the most self-aware or least self-aware bit of capitalism out there. i can't decide which

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

This thing is such a grift for people who wanna feel like revolutionaries.

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

why not combustible lemons?

3 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I feel like people forget the outcome of the guillotine

1 year ago | Likes 56 Dislikes 12

No, no man! This time the reign of terror will only affect the people we think it ought to affect, surely! /s

1 year ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 3

Pretty sure the red blood ran thicker than the blue blood. What I think you're overlooking is that red blood is being shed now. Through the for profit medical system, through police brutality, through lax gun laws, war on drugs which is really a war on non-elites.

France is no longer a kingdom. And the French aristocracy is today just a formality.

You can argue until the cows come home about cost and worth, just don't lose sight of the fact that wresting power away from, not just *a* king, but kings as a concept is really, really hard.

1 year ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

These days, I have a LOT of people telling ne the French revolution achieved nothing, and I'm like; "Bitch, it was the first of the Monarchy's to fall. Other revolutions occurred, specifically following the example of French success. Are there kings ruling our governments? You can thank the fucking French by building a guillotine for a billionaire in their honor."

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

The wealth disparity is actually even greater today than just before that revolution kicked off. And it's not at all close. So guillotines are very appropriate, even if only as symbols.

I figure we're still experiencing the aftershocks of the French revolution. It was a hugely impactful event, but the dust hadn't even settled before the Napoleonic wars ravage Europe.
Then 'the great war' rolls around killing half the remaining European aristocracy, and leaving the rest penniless.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

All hugely impactful events, the fallout of which would take decades to settle. Then WW2 reshuffles the board yet again, and this time there's hardly anything left of the pieces we started out with.

Half the world hasn't yet recovered from the demographic shift incurred by that war. That'll take some generations yet. And that's just a fucking footnote in the whole mess of a timeline, at this point!

The world needs a fucking break!

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What about the power disparity? Just because the technology and manpower didn't exist to create theoretical wealth beyond the physical gold and assets they could hoard, doesn't mean shit was better.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If your take is to immediately become defensive and lash out against some perceived bias present only in your interpretation, then I am not inclined to believe there is anything to gain from engaging further with you.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maximilien_Robespierre#Execution

Remember, kids! The guillotine doesn't care whose head it is chopping off. Normalizing that shit is a threat to everyone.

Don't take their lives. Take their money. Take their power. Make them feel it.

1 year ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 4

Hm, I do like one angle here, and that's that a quick death is letting them off too easy; making them feel it, as you've suggested, leaves plenty of room for creativity and I'm kinda vibing with that. After all, hell is other people, which means we have the ingredients for retribution already, and can be assured that attonement has been accomplished fully.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

When the rich own all the lawmakers, taking their power legally is no longer possible.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Well as soon as there's affordable instructions for how to make a money and power taking machine, I'll build one of those instead.

1 year ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 3

It's called a vote counting machine

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

That plus boycotts and strikes and civil disobediance. Never give them an unearned win.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Why does it want your fingerprints and social security number?

Only one free glass per person. This is the only way to ensure it…….yup. No other way.
