My tin-hatted fear is that trump is going to die of natural causes, and then the republican party is going to go around claiming that the "radical left" poisoned him or whatever and begin to strip rights and freedoms away from people with even the slightest left-leaning ideology. The plan for the President in case of a nuke exchange has been to just fly around on Air Force 1 for days and days. It can be refueled in the air and there's plenty of room for several flight crews. However, that doesn't mean that there isn't already a backup bunker under the West Wing. I don't know it for a fact; but I'd bet there's been one in place for many decades now.
