In Fallout and Skyrim I steal and scavenge everything in order to sell it. I only spend money if I can sell an amount greater than that.

"You want me to spend 50 of my 13000 caps/gold? Fuck that noise."

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I like to save all my money/items for the final battle and then realize that I don't need 99% of it & suffered needlessly the whole game.

everytime, even when you're on your 15th rerun and know exactly that you dont need it.

I'm shitons better at making money on video games than in rl.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

well you have to buy the game, duh

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Boy aint that the truth. Im a Fallout zillionaire. Mass Effect mogul. Skyrim fat cat. Real world broke

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I give away stuff all the time. Because by making someone's day in RL or WoW, is better than all the fairy gold you could have.

I do this with items. I definitely have more Final Fantasy X/X-2 Mega-Potions on one memory card than I have dollars in my bank account.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

well yeah i mean you can buy real things with real money lol >> theres so many more benefits to spending it

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm not spending any caps until I have over 10k.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Replace video game with monopoly. Free Parking!

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I used to be able to save up. Than I got into the saltwater aquarium hobby.... It's like a money pit.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I don't spend over 200 caps in Fallout. And that's still a lot.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

More so with freemium content. You know they will give you just enough so you don't rage quit.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

shouldn't use these potions, I will need them later

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Especially in Star Citizen

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I was just hiking about this 2 hours ago!

Thinking* we need an edit option.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What is "actual money"?

10 years ago | Likes 88 Dislikes 1

Muggle money

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

A lie told to keep children warm at night.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Bit coin I think

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's magic numbers conjured up by central and commercial banks.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And how does one obtain it?

10 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

Daily missions, although monotonous, are gainful. Sometimes there's sidequests for extra "money". Or selling your butt.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

you spend energy. Some people spawn with so much money they never need to obtain it. Bullshit rng.

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

irl is such a pay to win game

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

The stuff you buy video game money with.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Money can be exchanged for goods and services.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Explain how.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

But I REALLY want that peanut!

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I mean, it's not like most video games force you to pay rent or food or anything. Especially when you can steal everything you need...

10 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

U can't feel hunger for one thing in your characters stomach and food is soon much more cheap.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well I mean to be fair you can actually do that irl too

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Except when the consequences come knocking you can't reload a previous save or teleport away. They'll ruin you.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Bro. I've got 99 one handed and the mace of molag bal, I don't need to reload a save

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I am glad.
