My dog must be a fuckin lunatic then. That crazy bastard will sit calmly and watch them with us lol. Its the people around always shocked and amazed that set his zoomies off.
My dog loves watching fireworks too... not deaf, not blind... just a tad bit crazy... or it's a German shepherd thing...? ...that and he was totally unimpressed by a speeding train blaring its horn as we waited to cross (out in the open in the pedestrian crosswalk, not in the car)... I'm honestly glad he's chill like that, but it concerns me that he's sometimes too curious about loud dangerous stuff.

IIRC this dog is deaf which is why they enjoy fireworks.

Of the dozen or so dogs I grew up around one LOVED fireworks, one didn't care, the rest were scared.

My dogs just don't care anymore, if they ever did in the first place

I don't think it's a German shepherd thing, ours used to climb into the bathtub when she heard thunder

It's nice to see a dog not traumatized, which is what I've always experienced.
