Through med school I never thought I could relate to so many of the sad moments of this show

surgery

scrubs

One of the things I've told all my trainees as a CNA. Embrace a dark sense of humour, cus if you don't you'll never be able to make it

Seriously. Nurses are da real mvps, worked with many over the years. Some of the best people

As a first reponder and a Crisis Intervention Specialist, I see people on the absolute worst day of their lives. For me, it's a Tuesday.

I am an RN. I can't watch most medical shows, but Scrubs? Scrubs is spot ON. I love it.

Hooch is crazy.

Three cheers for doctors. Y’all are humans too.

This sums up Scrubs perfectly

It really does, +1

One of the greatest shows in the history of television. Funny, thoughtful, heartfelt and tear-jerking, all in nearly every single episode.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This show helped get me through a divorce. I could zone out and laugh and for a little while forget that life really sucked right then.

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

This part was so heartfelt. Well done.

7 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

Is this why cops make bad jokes?

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

i know a guy who went into the medical profession. he told me he had to leave when he started crying in the car every day before going home.

7 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Thank you! Thank you and everyone working hard to save lives. If it wasn't for people like you I wouldn't be here today. ?

In school I had some police officers come in and they said they do similar things because they deal with the worst of society. Respect.

7 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

Carla and Laverne were by far the most highly under appreciated characters on this show.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This is 100% true. Some patients I have had a hard time not getting close with them, and when they die it’s like a wrecking ball hitting you

7 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

Yes. Dealing with this right now. Really sucks. Especially when they’re young and have kids.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That’s why I’m pathology. I’ll never see them until afterward.

Its like that inhaler house image where he looks pissed but a second later he smirks because he was right about her being dumb.

Thank you! That's the best part of his speech!

Fuck, you’re right!

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I’ll always remember that poor fucker that had to break the news to us at 2:40 am in the ER. “Emma is no longer with us.” He got screamed at

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Resident here: on occasion a comment that had us laughing in the hospital will slip out when talking with wifey and I get a look of horror.

When JD lost his father, the rabies episode, Laverine dying, all amazing episodes. All got me in the feels.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I understand this; my wife was a floor nurse for 12 years and they do the same thing.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Since I'm currently in hospital to figure out what to do about the cancer they just found in my lung, I'm upvoting this too.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Be sure to make your own choices with good information. Don't let anyone force you on a path you don't want for treatment. And stay strong!

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This is my second round. Waiting for biopsy results. We shall see what the options are.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I’ve read that, except for the overly goofy stuff, this is the most accurate medical show.

Did you know scrubs won an award for being the most realistic medical series or something like that? moments like this really show why

7 years ago | Likes 876 Dislikes 10

It's because they didn't base their episodes suspense on the medical cases but rather around them, so they don't need last minute saves ect.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yep! All my medical friends agreed. Scrubs is just normal scenarios with doctors bitching about work and paperwork.

7 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 1

This show made me wanna be a doctor bc it seemed so lifelike. Am I smart enough to be one? No but it was very inspiring

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

My old house mate was an ER surgery he also said Scrubs was the most realistic medical show.

7 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 0

what award did scrubs win?

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I still like watching "House" and feeling like I'm learning medicine when I'm absolutely not.

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It even included a bit about how an experienced nurse can save a new doctor's ass b/c at first, they typically know more.

7 years ago | Likes 39 Dislikes 0

Experienced employees always save the asses of the noobs, if the noobs have the sense to listen.

7 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

That is a haunting episode.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Why the hell would you make me remember that!

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I can see why that episode got the highest rating of any tv show ever. Hit like a ton of bricks.

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I always upvote Scrubs. It was such a wonderful show. All 8 glorious seasons of it. Just 8. It was sad it ended at 8 seasons. +1!

7 years ago | Likes 2111 Dislikes 18

Oh fuck no. We all demanded more and another season. 9 happened, own up to the shit we caused. Quit pretending otherwise smdh

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

I wouldn't say sad it ended at 8. I'm sure a ninth season would've just been wrong in many, many Dave Franco ways

7 years ago | Likes 103 Dislikes 3

In a ninth season, I bet there would be new actors who would quickly realize how outmatched they were by veterans.

7 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Sure was a good thing they didn't try to bring everyone back for an extra season after 8.. That would've really sucked.

7 years ago | Likes 47 Dislikes 2

yeah, just like Sleepy Hollow only had one season. God, can you imagine if it had had more?

7 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 1

Can this joke die already?

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

There are only 8 seasons

7 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

Then why do you Scrubs keep showing the same 3 gifs.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Never could get into scrubs myself. I do love when these amazing moments are shared though.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

8 is the perfect number, turn it on its side and we can watch scrubs infinitely!

7 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 3

8 seasons and first scene of season nine only...

All good things must end before they ruin themselves. Seinfeld should've ended at 7, but they went for 8 and 9 and they just not up to par.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Why I’m glad Firefly got cancelled at 14 episodes. If it went for 5+ seasons, it would have still been good, but not as memorable and...

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

...sacred as it is now.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Church, but that show was cancelled for the wrong reasons. It was badly handled by the networks and was far before its time. /1

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If it was a Netflix series, it would still be going. A victim of network television.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yea good thing they stopped at 8 and decided to donate all their money so that the second season of Firefly could be ma...fuck

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What is this +1 you speak off?

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I also always upvote scrubs

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah, but it was like the matrix. It knew where it needed to end and left off before it went bad. Can you imagine a sequel to the matrix?

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Am I the only one that thought it was, like....ok. sort of. Oh hell I just loved scrubs so much I think I blacked out the whole season

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The spinoff was not that bad for what it was, a spinoff.

7 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 6

Agreed. It had good things in it. People compared it to the original and it didn’t stand a chance.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I agree. Shouldnt have been called s9. Shouldve been s1 of a spinoff

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

The studio forced them to call it that. Even the creator said it was a spinoff.

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0
