I still have an N64, the original cartridge, a GameCube, and Master Quest. I'll pass.

Not looking forward to the voice acting. Either way, a port is better. Everything doesn't need a remake because people need """better""" graphics.

Don't. Don't shill for this. If you don't still have a system that can play it, emulation is gonna be better and free.

For the love of god i hope they make navi less anoying, and delete the fucking owl from existance.

Unpopular opinion here: Navi was never that annoying. She chimes in with a couple unskippable tutorial messages in the first dungeon and then largely shuts up for the rest of the game unless you call on her.

Same for the owl, he actually only shows up a small handful of times throughout the whole game. Would be nice if they made it harder to accidentally repeat his dialogue though.

The remake of Link's Awakening actually made the owl quite useful not only to advance the plot but made him like a progress/what to do next thing in the menu.

Huge Zelda fan. I still refuse to buy a Switch 2 due to the always online requirement & Nintendo being able to remote disable your system.

The only reason I have a Switch 1 is to play Zelda so it doesn't really matter to me. Yes they have my balls in an iron grip because I'm going to pay $700CDN to play just a few games, but those games are literally the only games I truly care about in this world. Everything else is just a game. Zelda is Zelda. I hate that it's gonna cost me so much, but I will get my money's worth.

The last zelda game I played was on a sim on my phone that had buttons. Couldn't you just have pirated it?

What are you talking about always online? I play outside of my home WiFi and in airplane mode quite often.

Not technically 'always' online I guess. The whole MUST have an account. Every physical game is really a digital download that is registered

to your account and Nintendo can simply shut off your account causing the whole system to basically become bricked. Not worth the investment
