They are already trying to deflect blame. ItS NoT thE GuN... yes, yes, it is. No where else in the world do you hear of gun violence the way it is in America.
The problem is that America worships the gun like a god and the NRA wants it that way because it makes a fuck ton of money. It has nothing to do with the second amendment. They twist the narrative to make people believe that taking away guns is an infringement on their rignts when the reality is dead children make the NRA money.

The current interpretation of the second amendment is quite modern. If it was how it was intended to be, it would have been interpreted that way back when it was written. Instead, it is a perversion twisted by a capitalist lobbying group in order to prop up quarterly earnings. These children are sacrificed on the altar of Guns, which itself is a smaller altar on the behemoth of "Number Must Go Up."

I was on a thread on insta and people were saying there was a school shooting every other week.... and i was like "you guys have mass shootings every day" and i got INFINITE amounts of rage from people who were all saying SHOW YOUR SOURCES... and there are so many sources that i was honestly confused... i'm not in the US and i know how many there are. That chart shows 10 in one day. Fucked up

First modern police force was in Scotland in 1611, well before the USA and the constitution even existed. There had also been sort of ‘police’ in various forms for thousands of years before that.

Yes, the slaves was what I called the ‘sort of police’. I said the first modern police force, i.e. what we see as a police force today was established in Scotland in 1611 which predates the American constitution.

There's been a lot of reporting in both directions for the MN shooting. And considering we're talking about America here, I wouldn't be surprised if people are talking about two different mass shootings.

I've seen several reports that the MN shooter had changed their name from Robert to Robin a few years ago and *may* have been trans. No certain confirmation, but a possibility. If so, it's a shitty situation for the trans community as it will be used as ammo against them.
