No it seems just the motherboard got fried, they think it was a power surge. I have found out that a 20 year old surge protector does not protect anymore, oops. The board was 8 years old, ordered a new one with the same socket and I have a new cpu going into it. Can't afford ddr5 ram so staying on AM4 with ddr4.

Its kind of a ship of theseus situation. Is it a new computer? The gpu is new too. Only the case, ram, and storage remains from the original pc.
